Devon!

Last week was half term, so it was nice to have a week off from Sixth Form, even though I still had to do homework/revision etc. My mum, dad and I went to Devon for the week, which was lovely. We stayed near Salcome, and visited some beautiful beaches and coves (Hope Cove was gorgeous). 

Although it was cold, (and some days were a tad rainy) it was still a really nice trip and a change of scenery. I can only imagine how nice it is in the summer! It was my first time in Devon, i've been to places like Cornwall but Devon was definitely different. 

My dog Tilly definitely loved Devon, going on walks almost everyday and diving in the sea. I also went to a great place called The Oyster Shack, and had the most delicious prawns ever! 

There was a really lovely Jack Wills store in Salcombe, where Jack Wills actually originated in 1999. I got a super cosy jumper for only £30, as there was 25% student discount! Bargain! 

So, that was my week in Devon! It's a really lovely place and I would definitely go back, perhaps in the summer.

Welcome!

I'm Ella, and this is my first blog post. As a bit of an introduction, I like fashion, beauty, books (I love John Green), music (typically in love with One Direction), films (obsessed with Harry Potter!) and baking (although i'm not the best). I'm taking Media Studies as one of my A-Levels, and i'm interested in perhaps pursuing journalism in the future (?!). So I finally plucked up the courage to start a blog, and after a lot of faffing about actually making it, the fun part should now start!
